Wednesday 14th February 2018:
Primary School Network Meeting: We will be highlighting the benefits of Library Management Systems (LMS) within the meeting and introducing Pergamon-Mu! A new Library Management System from Esferico.

Wednesday 7th March 2018:
The School Library and Accelerated Reader:
This training session is an opportunity to discuss AR and how it can be used in a variety of ways, whilst still supporting reading for pleasure. An empowering and useful session for staff working with reading and literacy in primary and secondary schools. The session will include a very useful, free toolkit!

Teaching Skills For School Library Staff with Chris Powis
Developing new skills and adapting to new learning environments is essential for increasing levels of information literacy amongst library users. Delegates on this one-day course will build on current experiences of teaching information skills in libraries and learning centres.

Carnegie and Kate Greenaway Storytelling and Drawing Events with Kate's Storytree
This workshop we will explore why stories are important and what it is that makes a good story.  Using the books on the shortlist, we will explore the marriage between the written word and illustration and look at how the award process develops. The children are invited to become writers and illustrators of  their own short story. Inspiring the children to create their own books for their own school version of the award.
