Running Your Library with a Reading for Pleasure Focus

Reading for pleasure is incredibly important for the young people that we work with and this session is aimed at all who want to gain confidence in the day to day running of their school library linking with others in similar situations and getting it on track.

You can expect to learn about:

Classifying books using the Dewey Decimal System
Selecting and evaluating stock
Creating the right environment
Ensuring that your library is effectively used by staff and pupils
Promoting reading for pleasure
