Join us for our next Virtual Primary Network Meeting on Thursday 27th May!
Please join us for this FREE virtual event for any school staff who are involved with running the library/promoting reading at your school (e.g. librarians/teachers/support assistants/literacy co-ordinators).
Thursday 27th May: 3.45pm-4.45pm
This is an opportunity for staff to network with others, ask questions and to find out what other schools are doing. We will also highlight relevant CPD events, useful resources and local and national reading initiatives.
The theme of the next meeting will be:
'Highlighting fantastic books and authors: fiction and factual.'
We will be highlighting some great books to help your pupils 'feel good' and also some of the best factual/information/non-fiction books available.
We are delighted to confirm that we will have a guest speaker: Award winning author Andy Seed! Andy is passionate about the important role that factual books can play in engaging children with reading for pleasure and learning.
This will be hosted by Warwickshire Schools Library Service and all schools within our region and surrounding areas are welcome to attend (Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Walsall, Solihull, Oxfordshire, Birmingham).
To sign-up, please complete this short form and we will send you the meeting link.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
